New―Renew shaped the repositioning of the Schmees Group on several levels. Starting with a modernization of the logo, taking into account core subjects such as connectivity, efficiency, and future orientation, the entire digital image was reimagined and developed in collaboration with Ocki GmbH.

Subtle interactions for greater clarity

The comprehensive website serves as a corporate presentation of the company, introducing sustainable solutions, building trust in various industries, and attracting qualified employees. The challenge was to present the complex and wide-ranging service portfolio of the Schmees Group and its subsidiaries in a meaningful structure. With generous white space, targeted use of color, and a clear component hierarchy, it addresses a target group between Baby Boomers and Gen X. The development team at Ocki GmbH implemented this concept with a modular structure as well as a CMS connection that makes the website scalable and future-proof.

An integral part of the Renew package for the Schmees Group are individual visuals: a set of 25 custom icons for industries, services, and products, animated illustrations of demand and consumption data, and a 3D graphic for transparent visualization of power flows and usage scenarios for renewable energies.

The logo redesign focuses on subtle changes with a big impact.

The redesign process of the company logo aimed for small interventions with a big impact. Existing elements from the previous CI were taken up, modernized, and subtly optimized to make the rebranding seamless but maximally effective. The result is a professional identity that signals to the target group precisely the values that the Schmees Group stands for since 2004: innovation not only as a business model, but as an ethos.
