New―Renew conceived and designed the entire interface for the German company, which service staff use to teach new dishes and drinks to the canteen system. In this way, the AI can be trained so that subsequent scanning by canteen visitors runs smoothly. In addition, the user interface is used by service staff to manage menus and products. The UI/UX design of the service front end focused on ease of use despite its high complexity. The entire process of teaching and managing dishes and menus was designed to require as few and as simple screens as possible. This meets the needs of a target group that tends to be of older age: service staff in a stressful and challenging work environment such as a corporate canteen.
